Default hiding engine bay wires?

Is anyone else hiding the engine harness in here?I started hiding the pass side and all i have to do is put it back together.I didnt get to the vacum hoses yet.here are some pics.I didnt have to cut any wires. The maf plug is to big to fit in the in the hole behind the shock tower in my car but you can take the plug apart just to let everyone know.

here is a pic how to take the maf plug apart.first you pull out thre red peice behind the red peice there will be little tabs that you will need to get to.a needle will be perfect for this.

Just lift the tabs and pull the wire out but you might want to take pictures of where the wires go or write it down.

here is what you end up with when you get all of the wires out of the plug and the you can drill your hole, run the wires through the hole, and put your back together.Hope this helps some of you out for people that dont want to cut wires

Default RE: hiding engine bay wires?

hey 1fastzook post some more pics on this thread or PM me ur pics and ideas cuz i'm trying to do the same thing. I'll save the MAF wires since I plan on boosting and getting the AFM power pipe and'll put the maf in the fenderwell anyways but I want to start hiding wires. I'm still cutting out all the loose smog, egr, a/c wires atleast to the main bulk harness but am not sure if i want to try to put the bulk of the harness in the wiper cowl area or if i should just build a little 3' deep plate to drape down from that butt-weld on the fire wall thats right above the harness. Any ideas are good. I dont plan on chroming out the engine bay but just want a clean clutter free appearance... i'm still half tempted to go carb just for that reason.
