Default Signs of a bad fuel pump?

Im thinking about just replacing my fuel pump due to my current situation. read this

what are some signs of a bad fuel pump?

whats a good size? my engine is 99.9% stock, and i plan on a engine swap this summer. i will be using the same stock 19lb injectors. will a 255 be too much, or would a 190 work?

What kind of motor are you swapping into it? If its a stock motor you will be fine with a 190

You could be replacing a good fuel pump if you don't check it for fuel pressure...... and spark when you get the no start condition...point is, need to do the tests....could you imagine spending the money and time replacing the fuel pump($$), getting the problem to show again afterwards, and after checking the system; find out it was a bad ground connection($0),....or a relay ($10-$15), or the TFI (more $), or the stator sensor in the dizzy (more $), or the coil (more $), or the ignition switch (more $).........my 2¢.....nah!, this one is on the house.

if you think its bad fuel pump turn the key to the on position where you radio comes on but done crank it so the pump turns on do that like 2 or 3 times then crank it if it starts that way you need a new pump i had the same problem
