More injector sizing questions... opinions please...
OK here's my story...
Going to upgrade the power in my car this fall and I'm collecting parts to do it now... Car currently has a 91 FI/MAF 5.0L, will be going to a Lightning 351W and installing a KB super charger...
Goal is somewhere near 400 rear wheel HP... shouldn't be too hard, right?
Anyway, I'm trying to decide on my fuel system, 24 lb injectors would probably work at higher pressure (with FMU) but I'm thinking 30s might really be better at about 40 psi line pressure... I don't want to screw up my low end drivability 'cause the damn thing might be too rich...
Tell me what y'all think...

i would go with the 36 and a adjustable fuel press. regulator that works with boost
then u would run to rich onlow end
if u put the 36# with out one u problably run to rich on low rpm

So, basically, y'all are saying... use the 30lb injectors with no FMU and use an adjustable regulator to control/tune line pressure.. probably around 36 to 40 psi... I'm not a big fan of big time fuel pressure to compensate for smaller injector sizes... That also may negate the need for an extra strong fuel pump...as long as the current one has plenty of volume capacity...
I guess also a tweeked chip for the processor would be in order... I think Kenne Bell has a special designed chip program for each application..
Now, when I change injectors, what do I do about MAF sensor? Get a new one, reprogram the old one?
Your thoughts are appreciated.

if its big enough , it just a matter of programing it into your chip/tunner , he just needs to know which maf and if it has been compensated (calibrated for a certain injectoralready) or not .
