Default T-Top

Anyone got an ole T-Top ride? I think they only made them from 87-88 (EFI) is that correct?

That would be a cool project car.......

Unfortunately for me................I have one, it's an '86.....and am in the resto/mod process, it includes the replacement of the weatherstripping (full) of the T-Tops, doors, etc.... and taking care of the bodywork damage the continous water leaks caused. It's a matter of priorities, in my case, wish mine didn't have that option....would have spent the money in performance related improvements instead of the resto/body work required due to their existence in my ride.

Hadn't thought of it that way, still think it will be worth it when it's finished though....you just don't see them much. I'd like to have one to pplay with.

Until you have one of them crack while parked, w/out any explanation, other than heat caused pressure buildup inside the car; start looking for a replacement, and find out they are in the obsolescent parts list for replacements.....got lucky and found a used one for 1/10th the replacement cost, if available ($1,200....believe it, or not).....and this happened 9 yrs. ago....reason why I don't park under mango trees...(lol).
