when i start my car up in the morning, it runs fine... when i go to say the store, and then come back like 20 minutes later, half the time when i start it up, it runs a little rough and smells ritch, but then it goes away in like a minute or so... it only does it sometimes, more than half the time.. any ideas?

is it carburated or FI'd? if it's got a carb with an auto choke then that may not be working right, my dad used to have that problem with his 85. As for running ruff if it's got fuel injection you might wanna get some throttle body cleaner, pull your intake hose off, and just clean it, that will probably help at least some. Other then that it could be a combination of anything.

its efi, and the trottle body is clean, and it is intermently happining

Check your distributor cap/rotor. It could be cracked or it could be something electrical. My dad used to have an 85 and his was doing something like that. He went through a whole bunch of stuff and finally found that a few wires were rubbing on a piece of the unibody and had stripped the insulation off. They'd been crossing every once in a while, especially when it rained and that was the problem. Also if it smells rich you're probably not getting great combustion so that would point to something with the ignition system. Check all that too.
