Default Just Spent $380...Hope it was worth it!!!

Well...I doubt the stuff will get here by the end of the week (Race is on Saturday) But I bought a BBK 70mm Throttle Body w/ 70mm EGR...and a C&L 76mm Mass Air Meter System w/ that TrueFlow inlet pipe or whatever.... I got this stuff instead of the Trick Flow intake...I guess once I get alittle money saved up..I'll buy it and see a better increase But anyways...I hope this was money well spent..otherwise I'm gonna feel like crap..haha...Will I at least feel a nice difference?!

I too am considering buying a new MAF & TB... what sizes will be appropriate for a nearly stock engine? I have only a full exhaust setup, nothing else is done to the engine. I plan to upgrade the maf and tb and then order and install the streetheat, much like 5.0fox is

I'm considering buying a small shot of nitrous...maybe used :S but preferrably new (as it comes w/ everything needed for install) but the only thing I'd worry about after getting somethin like that is Install....I don't know anyone who could do it Correctly so it would be safe for me and my engine...if i knew I could get it done SAFE then i would...but I don't know how to go about that Maybe you should drive here and help a brotha out

^^^ is that english?

5.0foxbody the mods you did are supporting mods so you really won't get much from them.88 bluegt is right on you should have either got some nos our saved that money for some heads or cam&intake.

It doesnt really matter because its still money well spent. You just wont get all the gains from it. Also, I've never done a nitrous install so we can try it on your motor and hopefully as rydinturbo said "if the timing if off booom" wont happen; than we can try it on my car

yea if the car is not under wot when the nitrous is sprayed. the throttle plate wil not be all the way open, sometimes to much nitrous builds up in the intake mani, then u know whats next

Buddy just got the ZEX kit, it was pretty easy to install, didn't take too long. It is set for the pedal at WOT, have tried both the 100 and 75 shot with no problems. It is really a noticable difference, but if you dont have drag tires, the Nitrous doesn't do a whole lot for times. I think that the maf and TB will be a noticalbe difference. I know it was for me, but I had the Trick Flow manifold first, so that could be why I noticed it so much. Good luck! and yes it was money well spent if you plan on building your car right rather than just throwing a shot of nitrous on a stock motor!
