RE: price on gear installation
Holy cow, you guys need to get to know your mechanic. I got my gears installed for $150 bucks, and only paid $160 for the ford racing gear. He even threw in the red line fluid for the rear for free. I don't really know the guy, but i bs with him for a while when i go in, and not just drop my car off and jet. He also installed my clutch for $150 including the flywheel. new starter, and rear seal. I usually buy the parts and take em to him cuz he adds a bit on top of em. and send him your buddys when they need professional help, and he might be inclined to knock a few bucks off for being cool.
