Default Steel or aluminum?

Im just about to install my engine, 302 hypereutectic pistons,e303,afr165,trick flow track heat, 65mm tb, 75mm maf, full exhaust and 3.73 gear. I need a new flywheel and clutch. Should i opt for an aluminum or a steel flywheel, 50oz or 28oz? Looking for the most power for my engine.

What are you using it for??? daily, road racing, or strip?

An aluminum FW is designed more for road racing app's where the FW is lighter and the lighter rotating mass allows quicker acceleration out of turns as well as faster rpm increase and decrease. The stock or billet steel FW's are heavier and hold the rpm's up between shifts for street and strip use.

Alluminum. Every pound you drop off the rotating assembly is like dropping 6 pounds off the car.

you have to use 50 oz. 28 oz is for a 347 stroker. and if you can afford aluminum, go for it.
