Default speed density guys what kind of mods do you

i have a 1988 LX 5.0 just starting to do mods to it just wanting to know what mods you guys have and what works for ya

look at the stiickey's up top of the 5.0 page it'll explain everything

but first thing ismost likely... gears, full exhaust, CAI, and little stuff like that

i forgot to put that i had 3.73 s was thinking about 1.7 rr and maybe 65mm throttle body and i have an AOD

i was going to do a heads/cam/intake upgrade after i gt some money flowing... that include T/B and 1.7 rr's

a CAI is worthless in a FOX, pull the scilencer and put in a K&N panel filter and you will get the same HP improvement.

you can do alot off modding on a speed density stang, Iv seen many SD stangs with heads ,exhaust , TB without changing over to mass air . But it is a good idea if you arnt good with tuning.

And dont buy a cold air intake pointless like twister mentioned above

hey, look at my 86, it has GT40 heads, a Cobra intake, an Isky cam, 65mm tb, equal length headers, a custom X pipe, Dynomax catback, a 155lph fuel pump, 24 pound injectors, speed density.....

Ya thats what i was saying, SD is under-rated.
I didnt until i met a guy with an 88 and alot of work done., H/C/I , it ran like a dream.
