off topic somewhat... engine build
how sweet do you think this build would be...
stock block with reinforcements, girdles etc.
operation range 1500-6000
306 9-1 comp
afr 185
custom turbo cam
mabye like t-76 turbo or t-6 turbo, 9psi intercooled w/methanol inj. kit.
TFS track manifold
PMS
msd ign.
1.7rr
75mm tb
80mm maf
4.10 gears
susp(subframes,LCA,Caster, tubular K...the works)'
Good dyno tune run like 9psi all day long
Heres my next build how much power est. will I have problems and have to de-tune the horse so I dont break the block...I mean with this setup will I make more than like 500 to the wheels. Or do this whole setup with a 351w? how much would a 351 yeild over a 306 same setup, whats the diff like 20 horse?

There will be some things that you will need to swap but I would definitly do this in a 351W. Not only dot they have more hp/tq stock but their blocks can take alot more abuse than a 302... especially the early 70's and under blocks.

how strong are the 70's and up blocks, the 351's in the trucks and such? I was just thinking of picking one up for 300 and then get it rubuilt and bored, then do the plan...TURBO
