If you can't 'afford' a carbed street car, how are you going to afford any magna-charger???

if the 302 is getting less than like 16 mpg then the carb is not set up the right way. a lot of people go efi to carb due to cheaper parts (and less of them). to go from carb to efi is just plain impractical. youll need: wiring harness, ecu, injectors, fuel pump/line, upper and lower intake manifold, throttle body, mass air meter, iat sensor, and i probably even forget a few. buy the car and give up your quest for efi. its just not worth it.

I agree, if it's got fresh paint and engine in it, the 2k is definatley worth it. And carb isnt that bad at all, in fact, i just converted my 88 efi to carb. I'll probably hold onto my EFI junk for a while incase a nice older (64 - 69) stang comes along. But if you plan on building alot of horse power from your car on a skimpy budget, then leave it carb!!

well every 2 week ill have 500-700 dollars pocket money, getting upper and lower intake isnt a prob, i can search local junk yards for ecu's and harness thats not a prob converting it over isnt a problem i just need a for sure answer on what i need and if anyones done it... so for example i can get upper and lower intake manifolds off ebay or get gt40 ones.... but they all say 86-93 302 but does it matter? a 302 is a 302 right evn if i have a 84 itll bolt right on to my heads right?

basicly does the years matter as long as its 86-93 < those were all fuel injected right?

ecu
wiring harness
2fuel rails
8 injectors
02 sensor
upper/lower intake
mass air

and buddy of mine has a msd kit he will sell me from his 88 fox body that he totaled
am i missing anything?
