Mike i did not know your car needed painted? but so far it looks like you are doing good. how did you take the molding off the doors?

Tim, It didnt need it i just have extra cash laying around and decided to do it while i can had a couple or rust spot bubbles on the doors and back by the rear hatch,You could hardly see them but it botherd me cause i knew they where there,Anyway for the moldings i took off the door panels and right behind them there are screws for the moldings,You just take the screws out,heat gun the moldings and they should come right off with a little tuggin needed...

lol yea i went to the body shop because i was going to have them take the rust out and paint the doors,They gave me a quote of 1200$ for just the 2 doors,Not even the hatch.So i was like screw it im getting new bumpers and different hood,I might as well just prep everything myslef and get a good black paint job for the whole car for 1200 or something..

looks like ur doin a good job so far. I am gonna try to do all that here in a month or so. i am gonna try to paint it and everything by myself though. I also have a couple rust spots that i hate, cant wait to get them fixed. If i have bodywork questions i will make sure i ask u.
