Default will a stock block hold up??

I've purchase almost everything I need to start assembling my new motor. I'm really excited, and can't wait!

I am using a stock 302 block that has been bored 30 over, and has been completely prepped.

Other things I have are: Probe Forged Dished pistons, Forged Ibeams, Nodular Steel crank, TF Twisted Wedge Heads, TF Stage 1 Cam, TF Track Heat Intake, 30lb injectors, a 150-shot NX...

Is my stock block going to break/crack? I know the 302's are great, but...I mean I'll be pushing a good amount of power.

It might be takin to the track like once a year, and street raced 1-2 times a month. So it's not going to be abused or anything.

Any opinions???

not nearly enough power with that setup to crack a block, but what kind of boost will you be running through it? you did get dished pistons- hope you would've up'ed the compression ratio for N/A, even spray- good luck

depends on your ratio. more compression means more power no matter what your running. you just gotta be careful of detonation.

600hp is usually the breaking point for a stock block

flywheel that is. some break with less horspower than others. rpm is a factor too.

My N/A 306 is making over 425HP and hasn't cracked yet. Thats good old engine dyno type power too.....
Friend of mine has been bracket racing same 302 for over 350 passes in the high 11's and hasn't broke yet either (can't say the same for his C-4)....
