Will the 5.0 oil pan come stait down to replace the gasket?
I need to replace the oil pan gasket due to a leak that looks like it is from the rear of the pan. [:@]Will the 5.0 oil pan come stait down to replace the gasket?

NO!It wont.You will need to jack the motor up to slide the pan clear of the cross member.Make sure you dont have a rear main seal leaking.They can be confused with the oil pan gasket.

Just in case it is your oil pan gasket and not a main seal make sure you replace your PCV valve thats most likely what caused it to blow in the first place.
