Just finished, got a bit of a headahce but im just tired.

The install went well very smooth, I got loads of clearances too. Changing belts is going to be sooo easy now.

I wired the fan to a 185 degree relay, that kicks on at 185 and shuts off at 165.

Just to be sure, the fan is supose to be sucking air out of the motor towards the front for the car right? Thats hows its setup, Im a lil worried about it over heating on me.

Heres some pics.

I THINK ITS SUPPOSED TO PULL THE AIR, BOWING AIR TOWARDS THE MOTOR.

Yep, think about it, you're driving down the street at 30mph, and the fan kicks in, if it's blowing air, the force of the air from your driving and the force of the air the fan is blowing will collide and well, cause cooling issues, now if the fan is pulling, that air will flow smoothly through the fan.

I have that same fan, got it at autozone, mine is actuallly meant for a250CID engine or smaller but I think my problem is the radiator not the fan. Puller fans are more efficient, that fan can be either pusher or puller but you gotta pull it off and flip the blade, hopefully you put it on puller mode. it'll seem to rev a lot faster now. Hopefully it cools fine. Let us know if the fan is good on your car or not, cuz if it can cool you harged 5.0 mine should be fine.
