Quick Question

I got a 91 5.0, one day i was flooring my car and its AOD, i was going into 3rd gear and the RPM gauge jumped to 4 then back to 3 fast and it felt like it hesitated, wat can that be?

slipping trans most likely but could be something as easy as adjusting ur tv cable

was it in drive (3rd) or was it in overdrive (4th) ??

manually shifting?

buddy of mine had same prob. His converter was slipping pretty bad, it did it pretty often though at the strip.
