I'm getting ready to bite the bullet and buy a used explorer gt40 upper and lower intake for 225.00,is this a good deal and should i do it?Please help me make up my mind.
The only real prob i see is,i'm going to start with that then want some gt 40 heads,maybe a e303 or b303 cam and some new shorty headers.

Ya tell me about it,I had a nice 85gt that had a nicely built 302 bored 60 over with all kinds of goodies.I was running low 12's in the 1/4 mile,but i wanted the sn95 body so i sold it $5000. and bought the 95 i have now.
Here i am starting all over again.

not a fan of the gt40 but if u only have money for that its gotta be better than stock

Ya i really dont have a bunch of cash laying around but if i buy that intake set-up i'm buying heads and cam also.so the cheaper the better for now.
With the few mods i have already,with this intake and heads,etc i should really see a difference.I hope.
