High Idle question

Did you spray around with carb cleaner and the engine running, listening for an increase in RPM's?

yea man...ive done everything. I even popped a vacuum tube off to see if it got worse and the idle didnt even move. I un-hooked my IAC connector and the idle didnt move either. Im gonna try and see if my buddy will let me put his on to see if it cures it.

Tell me about it....i hate EFI...its really nice, but when something goes wrong with it...go ahead and break out the check book and the nerve pills.

If you got a signal at the IAC it's coming from the PCM. No need to check it. Can you move the IAC closed, leave it disconnected, and see how it idles? Are you sure the butterfly in the throttle body is fully shut?
