Don't even bother with an e-cam, not worth the trouble. There are a lot better cams out there for the same price and will be worth your time and money, check out some comp cams, isky race cams, trickflow cams, etc. and if you are thinking about getting a cam, I would trash the e7's or get them heavily ported other wise the cam won't live up to the full potention.

if you are on a budget get the f-cam .512 lift. and a set of gt-40 alum. heads. it won't be a killer combo, but will be a huge increase from stock.

you can run the stock heads. i have this set up and it works fine. just won't get huge gains till you slap on some better flowing heads.

E7's will work just fine. Look at TFS stage 1 cam instead of the E cam though. And maybe some 1.7 roller rockers and a valve spring kit. that'll tide you over until you can get some new heads.

Cam and heads will work fine. Just be sure you have enough valve spring for the cam. Use new keepers and of course check the valve piston clearance no matter what anyone says......
