You can also instead of the egr simulator, take the old sensor off the egr and glue, tape the plunger about half way in, then plug it back in. That is what I did, free and works good.

ORIGINAL: Hung Like a Stang
actually my temp guage acts pretty weird, in that it doesn't work most of the time. It seems to stick, i caught it working a few times, but other then that it moves a little and just stops. But it doesn't seem to not warm up.

Just a clarification for a statment in this post.
If your car is not heating up quickly, or doesnt get to normal engine temperature, ever! Your thermostat "might" be stuck OPEN. Not closed. If it is open, especially fully open it will constantly allow the maximum amount of coolant into your system. Thus, never allowing the car to reach normal operating temperature. Which in turn, could be an issue with the temperature your heat is coming out.
I purchased my stang a month ago, and the thermostat was stuck wide open, car didnt even run 100 degrees. But, unfortunately the heater core was shot too! I had the double whammy, hopefully yours is just the thermostat! Good luck.

not thermostat, I opened the radiator cap when i started it and coolant was stagnant, thus, its not flowing through the motor. So thermostat's fine. So its just something wrong with my temp guage, and either a clogged or shot heater core. Good thing it's 70 degrees today.
