When my car was stock it would RARELY chirp 3rd gear, (not that it is a bad thing) once I did 1.7 rollers, 4.10's and a tb and maf upgrade, it would roast the tires through 3rd and chirp 4th.

had to be, because i dont really buy that to much. i would have to see proof. the tires had to be bald for one. or he started in 1st burning them off and shifted while burning out through 3rd gear.

I never even thought about being able to chirp 3rd gear until i got my 3.73 gears, and I was able to chirp 3rd all day. . .for about 2 weeks until my 3rd gear exploded in my tranny. When I replaced it w/ a Tremec 3550 and put a king cobra clutch behind it, I still chirp 3rd gear all day. If you really wanna show off and chirp 3rd gear, I suggest gears and be prepared for the consequences. . .T5 Surprise!

and btw there is no such thing as a bad *** t-5 the syncos go boom and the the shafts bend. doh i want a tko 600 or a built t56
