valve covers
so im midway through swapping out my d9s for some brand spanking new afr 165s with trickflow 1.6 roller rockers, and noticed that i am going to need some new valve covers. does anybody happen to know what height is required to clear everything¿
any other valve cover tips you might have are appreciated

RE: valve covers
ya use a dremel to cut out the baffle and it will clear. It worked for my 1.7 rockers on stock heads, i think it should for the AFRs to but idk i dont have them.
If there not on the car yet you could put on a rocker and then set the valve cover on the head, then take two push rods put one up through the guide (where its suppose to go) and one up though the valve guide and move the rocker back and forth to see if it clears. remember the gasket will give you that extra little bit of clearance to tho.
Athough this is assuming that the heads have not had the valves assembled on it yet.
