Today I had the woderful experience of having a fire under the hood of my 86 5.0 vert GT. It seems that my starter cable burned its self in half. Anyone else have this happen? I'm guessing my starter and regulator need to be replaced? Yes/ No? I don't want to nor do I have the cash to just replace everything (Just spent $2100 rebuilding the trans in my SHO). UGH I can't catch a break...
