ran great, now no spark please help
I bought this 89 GT a few months ago, and now it won't run. When I bought it it had sat for a couple years so I drained the tank, put in a 255lph pump(already had a blower for it)it started and ran great, better than expected. Did body work, painted it and during that time backing it in and out of the garage it started running rougher and rougher to where now I have no spark. I have an old bronco with the EFI so I tried the coil and tfi module on that and still nothing. I made a trip to the junkyard and tried a distributor thinking maybe it was the stator still nothing. The computer's getting 12V on the KApower and pin 57 off the relay gets 12V as well with the key on so I believe the relay should be OK. The fuel pump goes on when the key's turned on and there's pressure. The wiring all seems right off the distributor.
How can I test the computer to see whether it's failed? Also is there a way to test the stator since it was a junkyard distributor I bought?
The Bronco I have is speed density would I be in serious trouble if I were to put that on the Mustang to see if it were able to create spark?
Any help would be appreciated

RE: ran great, now no spark please help
Just noticed a loose ground next to the battery, not sure what the plastic black deal the wire goes into but the wire goes in black and comes out black with green stripe, like the grounds for the computer. Is this what this wire is? If so is my computer likely shot due to the car running with a loose ground?

Yes nothing, I also have an a9p that a friend of mine got off ebay unsure of whether that one's any good, and the car is a 5speed so I've got 2 computers in which neither of them work tried them both after tightening it
