Default Speaker Sizes STOCK

I am looking to change up my speakers on my car and was wondering if these are the right sizes for the fox stangs. I have 5 1/4s listed in the doors, 6x8 in the back sides and 3 1/2 in the dash... Is this correct? I dont really want to pull off all the covers just to check if anyone already knows. Any help is APPRECIATED guys, THX!

ya your correct, I actually got a pair of 6 1/2" speakers in the doors. The stock speaker grills didn't fit back on but the speakers came with new black metal ones.

Those sizes sound correct, but it's been a while since I've looked. Most car audio places will be able to look up what sizes you'll need.

i think its 4" in the dash, 5" X 6" in the doors and 6" X 8" in the back

anything close to these sizes will fit though, but like said the grills may not fit properly.

I am not sure what the orginal size is but I think 6 x 8

I bought my speakers from Best Buy.
They make speakers that fit Ford autos back to 1987 to my suprise.

Polk Audio 6 1/2's will fit in the doors. They may push the door panel in about 1/4 inch, but should be better than the 5 1/2's.
