Yeah I have that same gas smell in may car. When I get out I smell like a gas station. I hate it, but can't figure out how to fix it. I just bought a brand new IAC today, and my O2's are brand new also.
my car does the same thing but when i bought it, it was like that.

owner said it was the fuel tank sending unit (seal/gasket around the filler neck)

a cheap repair just have to pull the tank

its been 2 months i havent done it yet

i wouldnt fill ur car up, i usually top off with half a tank. cuts down on the smell and if something else happend, i wont lose a full tank of gas

My car smells like that because it's running rich, not because of a fuel leak.

Well last month i was running rich..now im running lean....so...my whole damn system must be going to hell. Is they're any way to clean O2's? Or is it even worth it? I know sometimes running rich over time will mess them up. How do you run your codes? Never needed to know until now...

I got this stuff from a tool store its in a can with no label....no one wants to claim responsibility i guess...i swear this stuff will clean skin off your body. I dont know what it is but i smells like it'll give you brain damage pretty quick. And when it gets on your skin it burns like ****. But this stuff ate through about an inch of 35 year old grease, grime, etc. In about 3 min. of just soaking on my Dads old Camaro rear end. But it doesn't have any labels on it, just a bare metal can and a price label. It's like $5 bucks a can a local tool store.

But back to the O2 question. I had some coolent leaking into my combustion chambers a couple of weeks ago, could that have cooked my o2's?
