Default hp estimate plzz

first of all i have a 94 gt with about 180k miles on it .i have summit cai, summit pullies with stock alternaer pully, flowmaster super 40 mufflers, and a trueflow o/r h-pipe. also, my engines never been rebuilt but thats next thing on my to do list. help would be much appreciated.

Well, with the miles and the mods that you have you're probably right around stock 225/300...

With a rebuild I would guess about (realistically and not what the companies claim in h.p. gains) 10-15 over stock, it's hard to guess.

wow thats really terrible. so im lookin at 225-235. thats horrible! isnt that the same as an old stock 5.0 ?WHY FORD!!!????? u dont downgrade th HP then add more weight!!! what were they thinking!!! the only good thingi can say about this car is the torque. but its still terrible. what do u suggest if i really wanna get some hp outa this disgrace of an v8?

heads, cam, and intake manifold unless u wanna get a new engine
if not then get ^ plus headers, o/r h pipe, flowmasters, MAF, and 70mmTB

well after i get my trickflow or holley kit ill have all of the ablove except the throttle body. i cant wait too see the numbers afterwards. i hear that the 94 manifold and heads are a real restriction. DAMN FORD TO HELL!

It's not really a disgrace of a V8, it's restricted and Ford did it for a reason. Emmissions were strict, insurance sucked and if they really unleashed the 5.0 from the factory with 300 h.p. and 350 ft./lbs. tq. it would've been un-affordable to the average guy at the time. You can see over 300 horsepower and over 350 foot pounds with a H/C/I swap.
