launch at what rpm's
i was just wondering at what rpm's would be alright for me to do at the stirp. i was planning to run my car this month at san antiono raceway. but i was just wondering with my stock rearend with 3.73's what would be better. people tell me to launch at 4k an some at 4.5k. i even know this one guy with stock axels launching his car at 5k. my car is stock with 3.73s, shorty headers, pullies, maf, t/b and a king cobra clutch. im goin to be using hoosier 26x8 on 15" rim. and i have the stock axels, suspension is stock. i just wanna know what my car can runs before i do any modds. with regular street tires i ran a 14.1 without the king cobra.
