I have a stock 90 vert and would like to end up with 350-400hp. I have to start somewhere and thought about intake and full exhaust as a starting point.


I want to upgrade intake and exhaust. but want to startwith a cobra intake, because i have it already.

Question, if i just do the intake now and hold off for a few months on headers and h pipe, will there be any problems? will the car run ok with only a cobra intake and stock exhaust?

you should see minor hp increases with intake upgrades. My advice if you want that kind of hp is cam and heads. the right fuel-air mixture is important so exhast and intake will deffinitely help. You may even see an increase in gas mileage. You should be safe with stock exhaust

Ya you will be fine with the stock exhaust, member you dont have to spend much to start off. take out the air silencer behind the stock airbox on the inner fender wall. i see you already have the k&n filter, then do a tune up , then exhaust, intake is done, then do tb and maf, then its internals.

Also rip out the a/c and smog pump, toss on some underdrive pullies and your off to a good start
