Na the T stat is fine, just becasuse it opens at 160* does not mean that the motor is at that temp. That cam should be pulling well into 6000 rpm range. Honestly could the intake be choking him? I was hoping to see some signs of valve float on the dyno chart, but it looks really good. I know the A/F looks good but could the injectors be maxing out and not atomizing the fuel as well as they should? This is somthing I have seen on LS1's before, the A/F was good but the injectors were working at over 100% which caused the fuel to puddle on top of the valve, we saw a gain of 10 hp by going to 42lb'ers. Just a thought.

ok start by ditching the 160* stat. the motor is not going to run right untill its 180* everything else should be fine the rpm is like 2500-6000rpm right?

also go to JPCracing.com and e-mail them and ask them what you could do for more power. justin is a great guy he knows 5.0 stangs like the back of his hand. he is in the mustang mags a lot. my neighbor makes 572 to the tires and there is no chip in that car to keep it tuned, justin tuned it
