I have that set up, mine sounds really well untill about 2700 then it gets raspy to about 4000.

Its ok though. I like it, the whole set up goes good when the top and windows are up. It sounds/looks like one pissed off sob

Ive had the same prob for a long time. im running a bassani o/r x pipe with 40 flows and mine sounds exactly like what yours does. before i got the flows i had the same sound with spintech mufflers, im convinced its the x pipe without cats thats doing it!

^^ haha i would switch engines but i think mines faster you will have to ask zach how mine sounds, i dont think it sounds raspy or anything. he said it sounds good.

you guys are scaring me, when i do my exhaust i want to do an H pipe with cats with 40 series flowmasters. is it going to get that tinny sound like you guys are saying?

well i have an 86 with full exahust no cats. i used to have flows, the sounded decent but they were old and had rusted holes in the bottom. i went and spend some money on some Magnaflows =D sounds much more smooth.

I have a rattling noise but its just that the tail pipe is too close to the frame over the rear end. It rattles whenever I stick it in gear. I could just adjust the tail pipe but I forget to do it everytime I work on the car.
