RE: Electric Fan
with mine you have to get a wiring kit for it, ither its on all the time or you get a thermostat regulator kit for it. i will say i did go threw 4 sensors before i got one that worked, but it did not cost me anything.

you run a vortec? what rad? my neighbor uses the same fans and fluidyne rad. i stole the idea from him he has about a 1/4 inch inbetween the blower belt and the fan motor. go to spalusa.com they have all the info on them, i think is 4inch deep. they are good for 1k hp

I definitely agree that you don't always need to run a high dollar fan, but at tyhe same time... alot of people think you can just grab the electric setup off any old 4 or 6 banger junkyard motor.... remember... those small motors don't need as big of a fan, and you should really do research on how many cfm those stock fans use, then do research on what kind of cfm you need for your motor/hp... Alot of times, you will be ok with alot of the twin fan setups, but I would still recommend checking the cfm of the fan, and what your motor will need. hope this helps.
