i have a 89 gt auto aod does n e 1 know if a auto out of an 86 lincoln or a 93 or 94 thunderbird auto is interchangeable need help quick

Yes they will interchange. As a matter of fact the Lincoln tranny is better anyway. They got a little bit beefier internals than the weak AOD's in the Mustangs. If you can find one a couple years newer that would be better, but the 86 will do if you have nothing else. The tranny out of the 'bird is no better than the stang.
