good oil brand?
this will be my first oil change, i have no idea what has been put in it before ive had it.
anyway, synthetic or not? and what brand is good. i know i need 10w-30. its a cobra if that matters.

How many miles? If it is a higher mileage engine, I would not switch to sythetics. the smaller molecular makeup can cause leaks in older motors......so I've heard. I use Castrol GTX 10w30 in my cars, but my stang will get full syn once it's broken in.

I run mobil 1 in my mercedes (mercedes in in bed with Mobil 1) and i use royal purple in my stang... Synthetics dont bread down so they are better but remember the dirt.... I change oil and filter far more frequent than people say you have to...
