If you're getting it b/c you want a vert, then that's good to go, but if you want to make it fast, verts are a couple hundred #'s heavier.

$6k doesn't seem bad if it's in REALLY good shape, but you could probably find a better deal (depending on where you are and how soon you want it). Is it a 5 speed or auto? I would go w/ a 5 speed if you can, but that's just my personal preference.

Oh, and before anyone else says it....the very first thing you need to do is get gears if it doesn't have them already.

If it's what you want then get it. A little patience may find you a better one though....

Depending on the body though. If its in great shape and you feel that you CAN see yourself paying 6k for her then get it.

it'd be nice to see the car but with low miles like that its worth 6 grand as long as interior and exterior is in good condition. and make sure the top is in really good condition because its like 1000 bucks to replace that damn thing. welcome to the mustang club and remember that with good maintenence, the 5.0 engine will last well over 200,000 miles.
