Anyone ever heard of these?
 

I was looking through one of my books and I came across an intake manifold I never seen before. They are BXR. Supposedly they are capable of making 400 hp with open exhaust. I have searched and came up with nothing but dead ends. Maybe they are old school discontinued, but I am intrigued none the less. The BXR stands for balanced cross ram.

I just googled it and every link led to mustangbxr.com, but the site is gone. Looks like it wasn't too great of an intake.:D

Well... I wouldn't make a judgement like that until I had some more facts on it. I am sure someone has heard of it or it wouldn't be published in a book about tuning mustangs.

Corral.net would be a better place to find info on it. A lot of guys there that have worked with 5.0's for a long time.
