Default MSD Ignition

My msd is acting up, it will start then when I shut it off it and let it sit, then I will try it and it wont turn over. Then I let it sit and it will start. Could my coil be going bad? Oh yeah my plugs are relatively new.

Could be a fuel system problem. What makes you think that its a spark problem?

are you positive its your msd? could be a dozen other things causing that problem. if you wanna rule out the msd box, disconnect the wires and bypass it, and see if its still there. if its still there, i would guess a fuel problem, is it only when the car is warm or all the time?

Im not sure how easy it is to bypass the msd ignition but it is easy enough to tell if you have spark at the plugs... a screwdriver and a ground... or just hold on to the wire... Vapor lock comes to mind with me....
