I need to test my tps on my 94 cobra but i don't know the voltage readout im supposed to get. What exactly is the process anyway? With the throttle open fully what should the voltage be?

any other ideas then? I tested the tps and it semms to be alright, but im gonna replace it anyway to see. I think the ignition and a/f mixture goes crazy when the throttle is open, make any sense to you guys?

most all sensors work on 0-5 volts DC, so at WOT, the TPS should put out a 5 volt signal. closed the TPS should read .95-.98 volts for best throttle response. you can adjust the TPS to get this, but it might require some lengthening of the stock adjustment slots to get it.
