Default lincoln axleshafts

I know the axleshafts on a late 80s/early 90's Mark 7 are longer than the axleshafts in a Fox, but are they otherwise a direct swap? The extra width I'm not concerned about (I actually want it), I want to stick on the rear axleshafts and discs from a Mark 7 so I can have five lug rear discs without spending more than I should.

Bump. anyone know? One of the tech articles linked in the pinned thread of tech articles talked about using the Lincoln axleshafts, but didn't say if they were a direct swap or not.

yes they should be, but i would not use them if they are longer. it will make the wheel stick out.
