RE: 1989 GT to LX
some of us dont like the GT body moldings. ( not one of ford's better designs imho )
best thing i can recommend is go to junk yard and salvage off
on old 4 cyl to keep it cheap.
you'll need new side body moldings along with the bumpers too.

hey if the parts are in good shape when you are done i would take them off your hands. also you are going to have fun getting the side skirts off. they are bolted in and you are going to have to get some body filler to take care of the holes. other then that i don't see much probs maybe the molding could be hard to take off but the front and rear bumpers should not be to hard tho.

RE: 1989 GT to LX
Hey thanks for the help. I am changing i because all of the skirts are broken and falling off but there is no rust under them. So i went out and bought a Front bumper cover, new fenders and rear bumper cover.
I just was hoping if anyone knew of any problems i meight bet into to please let me know.
This way is just cheaper and a little easer for me biing a bigginer.
Thank all
Rob
