Default AFR 185 or 165?

Well im going to order some heads first, and i was wondering what u guys thought i should go with. its stock right now but i plan on H/C/I RRs MAF TB CAI exhaust and all that stuff, and probably a vortech way later on. What heads should i buy?

the 185's will require notched pistons so id go with the 165's. if your going to take the time to pull the pistons out, you might as well save up for a new block and do all the work once

last question, with a good H/C/I setup should i use 24 or 30# injectors, and fuel pump?

Hi XPBaller. I can offer you a great deal on a set of Edelbrock heads with 2.02" valves or a set of RHS 185s that will flow as good as or better than the AFR 165s. The Edelbrock deal is a limited time offer with a cam to go with them. Here is the link to the thread:

Anyone? Cuz heads are expensive and i want the most power i can get out of them, so should i go with Twisted Wedges or 165s?
