Default clutch adjustment?

how do i adjust the self adjusting clutch quadrant and cable .....stock cable and quad.

You can't really, the best thing to do is buy an aluminum quadrant, a new stock clutch cable (they don't stretch as easily as the aftermarket cables do) and a firewall adjuster.

i've heard you can pull up on the clutch pedal untill tou hear a click for an adjustment
i dont know if it works, never tried it, i'd just get an adjustable cable its alot better

Yeah... I also recall looking at this in My chiton's a long time ago, and it recommended that you do this every 5000 miles, and you only will hear the click if it actually needed adjustment... if there is no click, then it was probably just fine, but still trying this won't hurt anything.... yeah just take your left foot..

and raise up on the clutch pedal slowly... don't put tremendous pressure on it though... just enough to make it lift up a few inches from stock height
