help with getting this exhaust tone!
ok, so i've been aspiring for this certain sound for quite some time now and i've finally found a clip to represent it for you guys: http://donjohnii.com/Exhaust_Clips/52.MOV
apparently he's just running some 40 series flowmasters though. BUT he's also got a mac o/r H and mac long tube headers. i just love how the sound is so throaty and consistent. there aren't as many "crackles and pops" as other exhausts - which is what i personally want. my question to you guys though is: how much of that sound do you attribute to his headers? for instance, if i just got the mac o/r H pipe and 40 series catback with my shorty eq. headers (unknown brand)... would it sound similar? because most 40 series setups i've heard have a more broken up or raspy "loud" vs. the sound in this clip.

Why can't I hear the clip? I just get this tiny little box in the upper left corner of my screen, and that's all.
