67k is great mileage for a 5.0. if you take care of it you can expect it to last 200,000 miles.

He's right grab it.
You won't find to many 5.0's with low miles.

Check the front frame rails (under the hood) where the front fenders bolt on and look for any kinks, separations etc. That is usually the first place I check to see if the car has had front end damage.

Then all of the usual stuff. Sight down the car front to back and back to front (both sides) to make sure it's straight etc.....

Definatly check that, I just got my car back from the auto body shop today and it has that exact damage, I new it was in an accident there but we have inspections they have to pass here before a sale and somehow they "missed" that, now I have to try and get the fu#$% insurance company to pay for it, that should be fun

CarFax is an excellent tool for checking the authenticity of the mileage and any accidents that the car may have been involved in. I just purchased an all original 89 LX Hatch with only 70000 original miles. I looked for 4 months for the perfect low mileage 5.0 and traveled to 4 different states before I finally found this one last month. Of the 25+ cars I looked at that claimed to have original sub 100k miles, only 4 were showing actual mileage (thanks CarFax). So I met 21 liars. These cars change a lot of hands and a seller will tell you what you want to hear. CarFax doesn't lie. Hope this helps.

yeah thats a good idea. some of the fox bodies had an odometer that would only read up to 99999 miles and then it would turn back to zero so the car you're lookin at might have 167k. defenitely do a carfax before you buy.
