Heads Question

Does anyone know if the heads on a 1996-down Explorer are interchangeable with the a mustang?

OR atleast what motors have heads that will bolt onto a 5.0 mustang. Like I know alot of ford 302s use the GT-40 heads but which ones are interchangeable?

They are all interchangeble if it is a 5.0. 96-97.5 was the GT40 heads, 97.5-99? Ford used the P heads on Exploders.

All the the 'non-boss' heads all the way back to '62 will bolt up.
Most of these won't get you any power increases...
