Default 1/4 window seals

Hey does anyone know where i can get the seal for the 1/4 windows? for a hatch? The inner seal its like fome with a rubber backing.

Ive seen them on eBay but they are pricey. I sanded mine and painted them and they look new.

ya u have to buy the whole window. just pull them off and dand with 600 grit and use a black trim paint

no thats the rubber, the is a seal on the inside. its like fome and rubber, if you have not taken the windo off you prolly dont know what im talking about. ill get a pic

for the 1/4 window, glass guys use a black sealer. I'd recommend going to your local car glass shop like Gerber and asking them to sell you some.

If you're thinking about tinting your windows, do the 1/4's while they are out. You will be able to get all the way to the edge that way. Otherwise the interior trim is in the way.

Now that mine are out I'm taking them in next week to get retinted.

It's called butyl tape. You can get it at body shop supply stores, Advance and AutoZone.
