Girdles dont do much other then hold the bottom of the block together, but they never work, I always see blocks split down the front through the cam journals, not by the crank...

I've seen cars run a 200 shot on stock bottom ends, once again, it's all in the tune...

Well, it looks like you have your work cut out for ya lol You block SHOULD be OK and like 93black said.. its all in the tune my friend.

Not sure where you're located or if he's willing to ship, but a buddy of mine is selling a complete Nitrous Express wet kit for $350. This is considerably cheaper than other power adders, I can vouch for that. He's got it on a 95 GT, running a 150 shot. If you're interested I can give you his email address.
