I just purchased a new fuel pump. I am about to put it on my stang when it comes in. Any advice on how to make this job any easier. I know I have to drop the tank and all. Maybe someone who has done this before has some tips?????? Let me know...

5.0 Mustang magazine just did a show and tell article about doing this very thing-you might be able to find it on their website or at the newsstand. definitely don't try to do it with a full gas tank either.

With an empty or very low fuel level it's pretty simple. Make sure you disconect the battery before starting. Disconect the fuel neck and the two straps that hold the tank in. Once you lower you'll see everthing on the top passengers side of the tank. Also, make sure you depressurize the system.
