Default Ignition questions

I am fixing to get me a new distributor.I put a intake and carb on my 91 gt.I was looking on ebay and run across a package, the brand is procomp.Has anyone used any of there stuff is it any good? But there is a package that comes with a billit distributor, and what they call a 6al box, and I know msd makes the 6al.Do you think they are calling it that b/c it looks like it?it also comes with ford 9mm plug wires and a coil for $285.00.Is this worth getting, or should I hold out a little while longer and get the msd dist. and msd 6al.

MSD 6al will work on any ignition, it's probably a cheapo Distributor, and a 6al.... Don't waste money on FRPP wires, but a set of Livewires and be done with it... If I was you, I'd wait and do it right once and be done with your whole ignition... Good luck

There's nothing wrong w/ the ford wires. I've had them on my car for three years w/ no problems what so ever. Alota ppl run them! Can't beat the price either.

lol...my opinion. id say wires are about the same really. the size of the wires is what makes them a better wire. IMO of course
