Default Which Intake should I use?

I don't know much about Fords and this is my sons first car. It came with the engine out and partly disassembled. We got a pile of parts and I'm not sure we got everything with it but we did get 2 complete intakes i.e. upper, lower, tb. Problem is, I don't know which goes on his car. I took the tb's and egr plates off and one has a pretty small hole and is solid around it. The other has a larger hole with small holes around it. If the small one is it, should I use the larger one with the small tb for better flow.

Oh, we have a new reman stock long block.

Thanks for any suggestions

Any Help?

Need more info? One has a visibly larger throttle body.
Does anyone have the factory part number for the upper plenum?

Pics would help, But the lower intake should be the same, as long as the upper matches the lower it should be fine, as far as throttle bodies, one may have an after market TB and the other maybe stock, either one should work.

Thanks, one of ours match that #. Our other one has fre6se-9425-c4b. don't know what its for but it has the small tb.
Off subject, the oil pan has a place on the side of it for something to screw in to it. Looks like mostly rubber with metal threads.

We very much appreciate you guys help since we're pretty much going at this blind.

Thanks for the help. I don't feel very intelligent asking about these things but I've always been a Corvette guy. My son was born
loving Mustangs so I'm trying to learn what I can since this is our father/son project. Oops, its a '90lx hatch obviously a 5.0. The car itself only has 65xxx mi. no rust or dents but the paint is badly oxidized.

That's awesome! Glad to hear about your project. My son turn 15 this month and really hasn't been bit by the car thing yet. I've owned a couple of c-3's in my time although not by choice!! LOL! I just recently talked my wife into gettin' rid of hers and we bought a 90 vert.

G/l w/ your project!!!! Sorry to get off topic.
